Concrete, Cotton, Cherry pits 80 x 40 x 40 cm

Cherry pit pillows interlace with concrete blocks, a structure of contrasts unfolding. Each element, heavy and light, seeks equilibrium and solace, embodying a delicate harmony between strength and fragility.

The cherry pit pillows, repositories of warmth and relief, offer respite from the trials of pain. Meanwhile, the concrete blocks, seemingly stoic and impersonal, bear the mark of human touch, each one hand-poured. Despite their outward appearance of solidity, they harbor a hidden vulnerability, devoid of any metallic reinforcement, rendering them inherently delicate and susceptible to fracture.

Within this juxtaposition lies a profound exploration of themes dear to the human condition: strength, support, and protection. The interplay between the organic and the man-made invites contemplation on the nature of resilience
